While possible design and features have already leaked but a recent speculation essentially points to the Galaxy S8 to come with a 256GB storage option for those who want more storage on their device. Also, the newest feature is that the model has an internal storage read and write speed up to 500 mbps making the transferring of data from other devices much faster. Galaxy S8 is also expected to be available in two versions – 5.7 inches and 6.2 inches display – without the home button and with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, which enables the device to give the best video quality with high definition display. Samsung has already confirmed its association with Qualcomm to supply the processors for the next batch of its high end devices. Although there is no official word yet, speculations have it that the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Edge will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and an Exynos 9-based model, which will probably be available internationally. The leak also suggests the possibility of a fingerprint sensor. It appears that Samsung Galaxy S8 will include a button-less fingerprint scanner, which will be based on Ultrasonic technology. Also, the amount of RAM is expected to increase from 4GB to 6GB. The phone display will come with a blended screen, protected with corning gorilla glass 5 making it water and scratch resistant. Aside from that, the device will also include an AI (artificial intelligence) assistant. For picture lovers, the Galaxy S8 is rumored to come with a dual-camera setup on the back (12MP + 13MP) along with dual LED flash. The camera will also have features such as geotagging, smile detection, face recognition and other additional camera features for image enhancement. Other features include the latest version of Bluetooth 5.0 and HTML supported device. Samsung Galaxy S8 will be announced at the 2017 Mobile World Congress that will run between February and March. The smartphone is estimated to cost around $850.
